I think I figured out why I love Christine Liu’s boards in “Now We’re Only Falling Apart” so much.
She’s the closest someone has gotten to emulating Rebecca’s sketches.
I mean… this is Rebecca:
And this is Christine Liu…
You can barely tell the difference, right?
Plus the fact that she’s made the characters super expressive and detailed while still staying close to the show’s artstyle already has her in my top 3 favorite boarders in the show. I can’t wait to see more from her.
