This whole underage Little debate really confuses me. Like do you go to a bar and show your ID and have a temper tantrum when the bouncer won’t let you in? Do you scream that it’s not fair and that the adults are mean and won’t let you in to an adult space? Do you walk up to a strip club and start crying because they won’t let you in for being underage? Do you raise all hell when you go up to buy a pack of cigarettes and are declined because you aren’t an adult? Do you lose your shit when you get up to the voters booth and are declined because you are not 18 and therefore unable to vote? Do you gather your band of children together and enter the liquor store and demand that you be allowed to buy alcohol because you WANT to buy alcohol and you FEEL like you should drink alcohol and it’s not faaaaaiiiiirrrr that you can’t buy alcohol?? No. You are a child. BDSM is an adult space. You’re a child; you can wear all the child-like clothes you want and watch all the cartoons you want and colour with all the crayons you want, but that still doesn’t make it LEGAL for you to enter adult communities and spaces. That’s it. End of story! What you do in your personal life is up to you, and if you want to engage in your own little c/l relationships with your fellow child partners then whatever, you do you. But shoving your underage nose into adult space is just unsafe for everyone involved and it further perpetuates the stereotypes regarding BDSM and how it’s abusive and disgusting and full of pedophiles and rapists.
