To celebrate Brendon Urie coming out as pan I wanted to make a piece of my emo heroes!
Brendon reminded me that three of the most important people in my life growing up both in general and in my coming out process where him, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green day and Gerard Way of MCR. All of them are queer and their presence and music made me feel safe and important. So thanks my emo/punk parents for being there for me then and still being there out and proud for me now!
Brendon Urie- Pansexual
Billie Joe Armstrong- Bisexual (coming clean is THE coming out bop)
Gerard Way- Has spoken about not fitting into the gender binary many times
this kitten weighs over 5 pounds already and he’s only 14 weeks old. He’s half the size of an adult cat and he hasn’t even lost his baby teeth yet
He is now 16 weeks old and over 6 pounds. Kittens are supposed to be half their adult weight at 5-6 months, and he is barely 4 months old. What the fuck.
Now at 22 weeks, 5 months old, half his adult weight, this baby is 10 pounds,,,
30 WEEKS. 7 MONTHS.
14 POUNDS.
THAT IS TWICE THE AVERAGE WEIGHT OF A CAT HIS AGE. THE GIRLS IN HIS LITTER ARE ONLY LIKE 8 POUNDS WHY IS HE SO HUGE
Hello it is Time for Another Update!!!
It is June 18th, 2018. Half-n-Half is now 10 months old. Last I weighed him (like 2 weeks ago?) he was over 15 pounds, but he’s not gaining weight as rapidly anymore. Regardless, he’s still Big
Amazon’s big deals event is being timed to coincide with the multinational strike action against them, so don’t get tempted when those start up
It’s on July 10th
The strikes were actually timed for the big deals event so when the high demand comes Amazon will realise how much it needs it workers.
I clarified my meaning in another post but I want to say here that the intent of the strike is not to show Amazon how much it needs its workers; Amazon knows full well that it needs its workers like any company does. The intent of strike action is to disrupt and damage Amazon’s ability to carry out its functions and force the bosses to make concessions.
wait, doesn’t that mean we SHOULD order from it, to increase demand?
Absolutely not
if we order from amazon, they will still find a way to get us our orders and make their money, which is what they really care about. they will get their end of the deal even if it’s harder than it normally is. they will think they don’t need their employees to make money, AND they won’t have as many people to split that money between.
if we refuse to buy from them, it’s a double punch of not only not having workers, but not even making money without them. they’ll be fucked six ways from sunday, and it will force them to give a hot fuck about how they treat their employees
