If the company would face financial ruin then the government should seize their assets and fire everyone in upper management and then set it up as a publicly owned utility (: (like, preferably with a board of directors elected by the customers, but whatever.)
if a company is getting sued into oblivion because their negligence caused people to die, the government should be arresting the management, not passing laws to bail them out!!!
