It’s always fun to look at Scout from Meet The Spy and think ‘that’s Spy making those expressions, not Scout’. It both titillates and intrigues me.

I never through about it this way before. I just spent a minute flailing as my brain processed it.

In other news, this blog had 666 notes when I saw it.

You can totally see it when you look for it, too, especially in the gifs. The way he stares intently/bitterly at the number pad when he can’t figure out the code that turned out to be stupidly easy. The little squint of disdain in his eyes as he talks to BLU Spy, the little smirk of satisfaction when he calls him a dime-a-dozen back-stabbing scumbag right to his face and gets away with it. The outright SMIRK when he cajoles him again and gets Heavy and Soldier to laugh at him, too.

I also like to think that his shock at the pictures was at least in part genuine, but that’s just me.

I don’t watch meet the spy too much

shut up

Not to mention the whole new light it sheds on his expression when he reaches the intel.

Okay, maybe I have spent more than my fair share of time watching and appreciating this video… And watching the reactions of my friends when I show it to them.

…not to mention the initial family resemblance.  The long face, the pointed chin, the close-set blue eyes, the aristocratic eyebrows.  He gets his nose from his mother, of course.

that middle one is most obviously a spy face.
